Walpole Big Y is the best supermarket in at least a 5 mile circle. The Norwood Big Y is ghetto. I won't go into the Norwood Big Y, even if I'm at the Planet Fitness next door. I will drive to Walpole. (If you're ever in the Franklin area, the Franklin Big Y is very good, right up there with the Walpole). But back to Walpole - Excellent sales, Good product selection. Great deli and prepared foods, a decent sized organic/Gluten free section if you're into that, they work hard to keep lines moving, place is clean and well-lit, everyone seems friendly and helpful. What's not to like?
Best Supermarket in the western suburbs. Quality of products made there is great and the best part is the people that work there are really special. They take a lot of PRIDE in what they do and how they treat the customer. Service there is outstanding ! ! !
Very nice big n clean also friendly they gave my twin girls (6) reindeer food (oatmeal n sprinkles) to sprinkle in our yard do santa wouldn't miss our house...made their day (Christmas Eve) I thought it was so awesome n thoughtful!!
Big store. Great selection. Big y brand food is much better than most no name brands. Though the pizza could be better
I don’t like this store and I wouldn’t shop here and support this business or the management. Most of there products (big y products) contain all kinds of harmful chemicals like high fructose corn syrup to name just one of the things. They are way over priced too - and among other things I’ve desperately tried to get a job at this place and applied multiple times and no one ever got back to me even after I went into the store and talked to the management. The management is awful. There discriminatory and the owner should probably fire all management and re hire some actual professionals. I’d go to Whole Foods, Shaw’s, or Roche brothers if your looking for a good place to shop with quality food or if you’re looking for a job! Thanks!
